I started another thread about how to bring it up to my wife that I would like to grow a plant or two and make THC pills to counteract some of the side effects from my disease and medication.

She fully understands the medical benefit from using MJ and really has no issues with that side of the table. The issue is with the legality of it.

From what I've looked up it seems that Mississippi has somewhat decriminalized MJ use but I'm looking for some deeper information that I can pass on to my wife.

Is there anyone out there from Mississippi or knows someone from Mississippi that has gotten caught growing a plant our two for their own personal use (Not selling, just using what they grow)? Does anyone have an idea of what the outcome would be if one were to get caught with just a couple of plants in their own home? Would I just be looking at a fine maybe? Or jail time? I understand that the law basically says I would be doing both but I think it's also up to the one who catches you, they might be more lenient and then again maybe not.

The chances of getting caught are next to zero because I live out in the middle of no where (Nearest town is 15 miles away, I live in the sticks) and I wouldn't be making it known I grow, I wouldn't be selling it, I wouldn't be having friends over to toke up (can't toke anyway Gotta injest it, but might look into a vaporizer).

Now I'm sure you and I both know that if this is my plan and I stick to it the chances of getting caught doing it are 1% (Not a factual guess) but I know for a FACT this would be the major concern to her if I brought it up, and understandably so. So I would like to get some information on what I could be looking at IF I happened to get caught.
