vacation with no baby sitter, help!
this is yet another time when a nice drip system would come in handy =P
Yeah, that bucket idea sounds ideal. But I would only fill it up 1/4 or just over. For this to work...your plants need to be potted in a pot with holes in the bottom. this will allow the soil to soke up to the roots ( I hope
). good luck man.
P.S. Pot plants can live up to 2 weeks without water, but its not good for it and your yeild will probally we a little worse than if it was watered regulary. But in your case I would say its all good if you use the bucket method.ewells2420 Reviewed by ewells2420 on . vacation with no baby sitter, help! i have to leave my plants for 10 days. it's spring break so no one can water em for me. Any suggestions on what to do with them so they don't die while i'm gone. i would take them home but i dont think mom would approve. i was thinking about not watering them the few days before and then overwattering before i go so they have something to drink in my stead. any other suggestions or anything you have done when in a similar situation would be more than helpful Rating: 5
