600w HPS vs 400w HPS

I think I sort of overshot and got the 600w on the assumption that it produces more lumens per watt and that I would probably need it

I was thinking about downgrading to a 400w HPS since my growspot is rather small and I keep getting heat issues

can ya take a look at my logs and tell me if I would justified in getting a 400w and selling my 600w?

if you plan on staying small I would go with a 400. Th extra 200 is nice but if you have problems with heat you might as well downsize.

yea thats what I was thinking

the procyon is within my budget but i would have to wait a few months to save up some moola and it seems that there are some kinks still needing to be worked out on that

how about a 250? too small for 2 plants at a time? cause thats probably what I would be doing

Your last grow looks really good. :thumbsup:

To get good light penetration I would go with the 400. If the plants max out at only a couple feet a 250 might be enough it all depends on how tall you like to grow them.

if you wanted to you could get away with 6 in there with a 400 on a sog. Just a thought

they are as small as I can possibly get them o__O

12/12 from seed and they still end up monsters lol

maybe its the superthrive haha

either way im happy with 3oz+ per plant but I probably will downgrade to a 400

is there such thing as a 300? or some other odd number systems?
