    Excuses Excuses

if someone caught you smoking, what would you excuse be? What would be the best explanation and best excuses or reasons on why you smoke? Many people smoke in secrecy, so what would your best excuse be if you wanted to tell someone that you smoke to someone that doesn't approve?

I would just say it like this__yea i smoke alittle what have ya __ then go to the kitchen and get some fruit loops...
sometimes being completely truthfull and keepin it real saves a lot of strange long drawn out situations.

when a cop pulls me over and im smoking --i just tell him yea im smoking and here it is ___3 times and just let go ...
The truth will set you free...

I'm talking about in the sense of parents asking/catching you.

My all time favorite parent/stoner interaction would be my old roomate. After getting good and truly baked out of his gourd, he walks into his parents house with his bubbler still in his hand. Lets reiterate once more for good measure, with his bubbler still in his hand. He stops to pet his dogs, still holding the bubbler. He carries on a conversation with his mother, still holding that damn bubbler. Finally his mother decides to question him about his habits and what he's holding

"So, do you smoke a lot of pot?" she inquires. Clearly feeling more clever then he actually was at the moment, he responds with good, old fashioned stoner comedy:
    "Occasionally...I smoke a lot."

It wasn't until he left that he realized the bubbler was still in his hand...

I'd give the same reason to everyone that I have always given and it isn't an excuse but simply my reason.

    I LIKE IT !

*If you happen to be caught with a freshly lit joint*

Why? Why not? Just the tip. Just for a second. Just to see how it feels...

I go to school in Italy right now and it only consists of two buildings. There's a beautiful terrace on the third floor in Building B and it overlooks all of Rome. My 5 PM class was on the fourth floor, so a few minutes before class I decided to toke up on the terrace, not expecting anyone to come out. I only pack a three-hitter for this very reason.

Right when I get done smoking, someone comes out and instantly says "You smoking weed, man?" He had that long sideburn, glasses intellectual look so I wasn't sure if he was a student teacher of some sort, so I took the safe route by saying "What? uhh.. noo"

But then I figured out he was a student and was pretty cool, so I fessed up. So I guess my answer to the topic is I would deny deny deny until your credibility is built up, in which I then admit defeat.
