The Girls are Sick!! please help

Good Morning, I am in dire need or your help. My girls where doing fine and then started to get discolouring on the leaves. This spread throughout the plant to where now some are completely yellow and curling on the ends in a few spots . I have flushed them once and also watered once using epson salts as first thought it might be a mg problem. I water every three days or so and use 1 ounce of DNA bloom 1 & 2 to five gallons of water. I use bloom fortifier once a week. I am in week four of 12 & 12 .. Please help.. I am at a loss as to what to do .. the humidy level and the heat are perfect in the grow room...?????

leaves 'yellow' during blooming, it's natural, as the plant draws its nutrients from them ... your spotted leaves make me wonder if your plants are sitting in a bit of water ... make sure your drainage is complete ... also, looks like your plant has outgrown its container ... go bigger next time ... good luck

Hi & Thanks, I have them planted in 3 gallong pails with holes in the bottom and have them sitting in tubs for leakage. They are about 24 inches high. I have another month before they are done so is it normal for the leaves to yellow this much this soon, As you can tell I have never grown before.

    Fill out the troubleshooting form.
how long has the plant been in its pot, and what is your water source- those are VERY important.
Don't water with Epsom salts until you are CERTAIN you have mg def, and even then, it's potentially dangerous to the plant.

Lol. Thanks mac. That's because im a hydro grower and we live and die by ph (actually it's the plant that lives....never mind) and it seems to be the one thing that some soil growers tend to simply skip or not notice.......until there is an issue.

If you think about it.....all QUALITY soils have plenty of the correct nutes in them so the chance that the plant really isn't getting a certain nute or mineral (because the soil doesn't have it) is much lower than the the ph going off course, which is pretty common imo. Deficiencies in proper quality soil or hydro really don't happen very much for that reason......if a plant's not "getting" something it's usually a ph related issue and thats why pouring more and more crap into your pot or reseivoir usually makes things worse.....(read: burn.)

And ps....make sure you are using good tap water or RO with CalMag.....that should take care of any other deficiency that even THINKS about coming around your plants.
