Alrighty - It's been 24 hours since the plants received nutes and here is the update on their condition.

- Droopy leaves have greatly improved. Less plants show them and they don't nearly droopy as much anymore. Also, leaves do recover much more quickly after the light has come on.

- Plants are seeming to start to stretch/grow again - Around 1.25cm in the past 24 hours.

- Weird spots have started popping up on the leaves again. They kinda start of grey, then turn to a brown/rust color and finally to a yellow. Not all plants are showing this, though I guess that it could be a sign of over- fertilization?

- Color of the leaves has not really improved yet. Especially one plant is showing extremely light green, almost yellow, leaves - Even on the new growth. How long before I should see some improvement here?

In saying this though, bear in mind that Pro Plus has a cocco content, so it's rather difficult to overwater. Provided you have good drainage, this should not be a problem at all.

You are on track by increasing their nutes - again due to the soil's cocco content. Don't be too surprised though if some of the yellow leaves do not recover. Those that do, great. Those that don't, oh well.... Give the yellow leaves a GENTLE tug. If they come off, well then they weren't doing the plant any good anyway, as the plant has already leached all the nutrients out of the leaves in an attempt to feed itself.

Have you flushed yet? If not, it may be a good idea to do so at the next watering. 10 litre pots = 30 litres plain water per pot, with the last litre or so containg 1/2 strength nutes. Then let them dry before feeding again.

Something to think about - maybe for future grows: I use clear plastic 10 litre square food containers as pots, with 8 or 10 3/4 inch holes drilled in the bottom. I cover them in black garbage bags to prevent light entering the pot. I leave the bottom of the container uncovered, but the base of the pot will not let in light as it has to stand on something after all. I do this so that if I pick up the pot, I can see the roots at the bottom. This gives me an idea of how well the roots are doing, ie if I see darkening of the roots, then I know that they have issues that need addressing, before it's too late to correct the problem.

You don't seem too happy that the ladies have gone handbag shopping at the mall, via the makeup department, rather than concentrating on growing

Have you decided when to start flowering? The White strains tend to tripple in height when flowering, so if height restrictions are an issue for you, it may be better to flower sooner rather than later. I have no experience of the Train-strains, so am unable to comment here. I would guess though that they too will at least double in size.
Thanks again for the info. I already decided to remove all the old and died off leaves. Plants are looking better now. Watering the Terra Plus stuff is a whole new experience, compared to the rockwool and cogr slabs, for sure.

I fed the plants an additional 2.5 liters yesterday with about 200ml runoff, per plant. Pots are still extremely heavy, but nice and evenly watered. Would you mind taking a guess on how long it'll take for them to dry out? Right now this is having me slightly worried, as my guess'timate would be around 5 days...?!

In regards of the root system I usually just pull the side of the containers away from the soil and look down.... Works great and my roots are looking very healthy, even though I can't really see any root-hairs?? :wtf:

And you are right - I ain't happy one fucking bit about my ladies having gone out shopping with the mastercard and without permission...! The re- newed growth of spots on the leaves is really having me concerned. I didn't wanna really switch them to 12/12 with problems still being unsolved and/or remaining.
However, I always planned on switching them when the first plant reaches 40cm and that is just about the case now. Problems that I'd really like to get under control first though are the yellow leaves on the new growth and the weird spots on my leaves. What do you think??? I am despereate for advice!
