The amount of water really is dependant on the size of the pots you are using. I'm using 10 litre pots (erm... 3 gal?). They absorb about 3 litres each with about 200 ml run-off, and they are dry in two days. Boy, do these girls like to drink. The point is not to measure too greatly the amount of water you are giving the plants, rather concentrate on how much the plants need. As the plants grow they will naturally drink more. The other aspect I'm trying to make is that they love Canna. I'm on full strength flores and double strength bloom boost. Three feeds, then plain water, then three feeds... you get the idea. One thing to remember too - flush every 30 days, to leach built up salts in the medium. Also, don't feed them with cold water - rather let the water reach room temp before feeding. This eliminates stress from too cold water. Can't really see too well from your last pics, but I would guess they are hungry, that's why the bottom leaves are yellow. You are at day 43 - feed them. Full strength nutes per the bottle instructions. I started full strength veg nutes when they were about 20 days old. Hope this helps you to grow some lurvly ladies
Its really awesome to have finally found someone who has experience with this Canna Terra Plus stuff.... Somehow, watering it feels 'different'.... My pots were still fairly heavy and as I decided to start feeding them I started watering them....

Well, each pot has taken an additional 2 Liters with virtually no runoff. I'll probably feed them another .5 Liters each and then see what happens. As for the nutes I decided to go to a little above 1/2 strength. If they tolerate it well I'll increase to full strength next time around.

BTW - For the past few days plants only grew an average of maybe 1/4 or 0.75cm....
