Switching over to the SOG method next cycle through. This board has been absolutely amazing... bursting with smart people with great ideas. I do thank you all, my sincere hope is that I've provided some help to those in need as well.
That said, let's talk about SOG!! Unless I somehow get talked out of it by someone with lots of experience with White Widow... the plan is grow Widow in the SOG format for my upcoming cycle. I've never grown Widow but I think it's a decent one for this type of method.
It seems there's two Phenotypes of the Widow, I have the one that doubled in size during flower, and gets a tad more branchy than some of the other Phenos.
I am planning to use SunShine#4... not yet decided on how large the pots will be. I'm running 3.6K watts, and have 4X4 tables under each of my lights. I plan to put around 50 clones under each light... give them three to four days to settle into their new homes... and off to flowering we go!
I like Al B. Fuct's method of having multiple different stages of growth, but because I seemingly have a constant battle with spider mites... I'm not sure I can break it into as many different phases as I couldn't use some of my methods of killing those fuckers with plants near to harvest only a few feet away! For this reason, I think I'll break it up into two different batches... one with 2K watts, and the other with 1.6K watts, and split them up a few weeks.
I also have access to a purple strain that is doing wonderfully for a friend, but I'm a bit cautious of making the system more complex with multiple strains... especially since SOG is new to me.
Thanks in advance!razzapiggy Reviewed by razzapiggy on . SOG Discussion Club Switching over to the SOG method next cycle through. Sea of Green can be a rather vague term, so for the sake of clarity in this thread we'll be talking about growing 2+ plants per square foot with little veg time resulting in small plants with a single cola.
Thanks!

Dabbling myself with the SIG ideas. I started this grow with 12 plants in a 10gal tub. Its about 12x24in and about 9in deep. Judging by the way they grew, I couldve let them get a lot bigger and still go with 12. Possibly doing 10 of the tubs. each clone in THIS tub (only 8in tall clones) will give me 7g+. So, we get this fine tuned....yield will be MUCH higher per sq/m than big plants...
good vibes
