i see.. that thread makes it clear and im reconsidering my indoor operation...

smell problem should be out the door then... i should go buy alot more pots... but now for some new questions.
i will start growing outdoors, should i still keep them in pots? i know of a perfect spot for them.

would growing them under trees still give them enough light? imean "weeds" grow under trees all the time.

also.. im still having trouble with my dying child ... would the indoor 16/8 to outdoor (whatever time frame it is right now) shock my plants and turn them hermie?? or even worse, make them susseptable to disease since they been pretty much living a luxury for over a month?

    Goodonya!
It's not just a legal issue, it's a TRUST issue.

    Now, we'll help ya.

Moving from just 2 CFLs, to full tropical sun will probably kill them.
Under trees will actually work better.
You might want to bug spray the area before you put them out to knock down the spidermite population in advance.

They will need some help with bugs.
At least until they can defend themselves.

This time of year, they will probably begin flowering and will stretch to double their present height or more.
Wanna keep that in mind for visibility.
And, you still have the odor problem to deal with.
Folks gonna follow dere nose, ya know.

A guy here onna beeg island leaves a dead pig downwind of his grow to discourage sniffing.:wtf:
    He t'inks evabody dumb, ya?

    Good luck with the grow,

huh spidermites??? i wasnt aware we had them on oahu! >_< usually i hear the common saying "juss put em in da ground and wait" from my local friends. ive seen one of my friend's plants and compared to mine (which have been in the soil MUCH longer than his), his is TRIPPLE the size of my biggest plant!...

anyways. i live on the eastside of oahu and since 95% of all growers put them in the ko'olau mountains, we got helicopters flying over them with infra-reds every 5 hours to pull them out, and everybody finds and steals/kills eachother's plants on the all the time to make things worse...

my spot is hopefully descolate enough that nobody would want to put effort into going there when they can easily steal eachothers crap in the mountains and leave mine alone . how far would the smell travel?? imean the forest is full of smells anyway, say i treked about 50-100 feet off the common trail till i find a nice even spot to put my plants on??

and u say its better that i put them in the shadier parts, can i just leave it in that spot the whole time until it produces buds or what?

EDIT: those pics i uploaded are of my crop as of 1 hour ago... im still concerned about my biggest plant, its the droopy one of course, and that 4th pic is its twin sister so you can see the difference!! (they are the same size)

as u can see in pic of the whole fleet of them, that middle one has started to droop again... it WAS getting better from yesterday, but now its going all awkward silence Viagra on me!! main concern is my big plant... what to do?

It shouldn't make your bill too high, its only about 200 watts for 8 cfls. See if you can buy a fixture that holds 4 bulbs, you can pick them up for like 8 bucks at home depot.

Progress Lighting Broadway Collection Polished Brass 4-Light Wall Bracket - P3298-10 at The Home Depot

Kind of like that only you can get one that is much cheaper. You can put y- sockets in each of the bulb holders and you can have 8 cfls running from one power cord.

4 lights would be better, but for your 3.75 square foot space, it would only get you about 2000 lumens/square foot. You can definitely grow some dank weed under this light power, but your plants will thank you if you add more lights.

The electricity bill shouldn't be affected too much. 8 x 26 watt cfls = 208 watts x 18 hours per day = 3.744 kWh per day x .20 per kWh (not sure what the rates are in Hawaii so I guessed high) = .75 cents per day to run.

Despite MANY warnings from members, and a sticky in the FAQs linked here: http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs...ents-home.html plus the very basic SITE RULE that we do NOT discuss any type of parasitic grow, and we do NOT discuss selling the product...

I'm surprised anyone is offering to help...
This is OVER. So is the other one. I may merge them.
