Double potting-Experienced help

If you folks would be a little more open to new grow concepts, I think you all would find yourselves a little less offended. Frankly, most of the reply's have been an attack on me because, obviosly, 99 % of those had no clue what double potting is...Nor have I gotten a reply from someone who was experienced in this process. And by the way, whats so wrong with being a rookie? Also, my information does not only come from a book, I used that for reference as some proof of this process. I have several friends who have seen massive results from this double pot thing...Its seems as though everyone has missed the point...AFTER 12/12?

I have heard this is a excellent way of doubling even tripling your yield if done while in vegetation. Double potting is not exactly a full transplant, which can cause stress that may show up in the flowers aka hermies. Has anyone done the double pot transplant after initiating 12/12? Results? ( I know alot of the results will be strain dependant.) Rating: 5

who needs double potting anyway?

just woke up from last nights' test drive of my twilight in day 33/56.....guys this stuff is great for sleep........anyway, who needs double potting? it seems stupid idea to do so.....for me it sounds more practical and useful to use one pot from start to finish and this is going to be applied by me in my future grows.....why not use one BIG 5-10 gallon pot instead of using two?......surely, i can understand the concept of double potting, but cutting the bottom 'only' of the pot and placing it on the bigger pot with soil leads to the spread out of the bottom roots only....hey man, did you get yourself up and high prior to starting this thread?.....also, get yourself started with a grow and then try to suggest things over here....books are good but one thing to remember is that if don't take action and apply the knowledge that you may have, you will never understand who things work...hey BOBBONG....i don't think this guy's an asshole....he's just a 15 yr old child that happened to have a book....
