Help? wondering what sex my plant is.

Hey, this grow atm is more of a "learning experience" and i need some help determining sex. Sorry about the quality of the photos(im no photographer). My next grow will be logged though. I have 10 seeds coming from Nirvana of "Ice". Also a simple explanation of how to crop/prune would be much appreciated.

I cant tell from these pics, try and take a close up of where the branches touch the main stem.

Hate to say it, but I think I see a few balls on the pic with the ladder. Hard to tell with photo.

She needs more light IMO.

BTW if any of you were curious i got my ICE seeds in from Nirvana and they were kind enough to give me a bonus 10 seeds(not sure type) and a Christmas hat :hippy:. Im currently practicing germinating them because on my previous grow they went straight to soil. I places 2 seeds in a altoids tin with a moist paper towel and places it on a heater. One popped and is currently in soil, the other has yet to.

Im greatly debating whether to go soil or hydro, i like the bubble system that i have seen(using singe buckets and an air pump). Im using only CFLs but i have more than plenty of them. What would you recommend as the best/easiest way to do it(because i have to buy supplies soon for either). Im currently growing in a small 2.5x3.5 foot closet with more than enough height.
