never, ever, heard of it, but I would suspect it's origin would be in reference to Trinity County, CA ... 1/3 of the Emerald Triangle ...

Thanks Image, there are two different trinity strains the one I am trying to track down did come out of the emerald triangle back in late 70s early 80s it was a very popular but you needed to know someone to find it back then. I hope some old hippie is sitting on it and it will make an appearance again as it was outstanding. Again thanks for your imput. peace

the 'bubble-tub with rapidrooter plugs', is the way I germinate these days ... I highly recommend that, over the old paper-towel idea, especially with older seeds, they hold an almost perfect amount of moisture ... :smokin:

Trinity strain
I grew the Trin about 8 years ago. It was great weed and very popular in my group of friends. Once the Kush craze hit a lot of these great old school seed strains disappeared. I don't know anyone that still has it.

My personal favorite! :rastasmoke:
So yeah, I do have a friend who's been working with that stuff for several decades. He's from the norcal and has since moved out this way. The bud is very earthy both in taste and smell. Completely coated in crystals and very dense. I have a lot of friends who refuse to smoke anything else if they can help it!
Now that this state has the medical marijuana laws in full effect, I know he's getting clones out through a local dispensary as well, so I expect to see it surfacing up a bit more around town!
