Large Plants vs Sea of Green.....

I am about to purchase a 4'x8'x6.5' grow tent, and a 1000W MH/HPS light. I plan on growing hydroponically. Would having 8 large indica and indica dominant/sativa plants or several small plants of the same type produce a larger yield? My state law imposes a harsher penalty for more that 10 plants, but I worry about controlling the height of larger plants. I have done the math and I can only allow my plants to reach 4ft. Will this be difficult to sta within this limit? Approxiamately how long should my vegatative stage be to achieve this? If I do go with Sea of Green what hydo system should I get? Sorry I am asking so many questions in one post, but there are so many details to consider. Any input is greatly appreciated.

It depends on your strain .....I have a indica strain that when finished is only 3 ft tall in the planter and produces about 6-7 oz per plant

Vegg to about a foot and a half and most strains will double in flower.

If you want a SOG then each stage will need it's own system for that stage. Such as drip or bubblers are easy to keep separate.

4 x 8 you got room for many. I would go 10 gallon tubs with 4 to 6 plants each and you could easy put 6 to 10 of tubs in there.

Oh yea, one tub with 6 plants can get me about 12 to 16 ounces per 6 plants. Get that once a month. Plants just over 3 feet.

Same hear, but the sativas I grow become much larger and need to be to produce enough bud. Try the SOG and start a log!
