Almost ready to harvest, final newb questions...
Im a newb to growing, and I didnt really know what I was doing when I started but somehow I have managed to get a plant to the point its ready to harvest.
She is blue haze, 25 inches tall and half her white hairs have turned a lovely golden brown colour. Oh and she smells wonderfull.
Now what advice would you guys give for those final days, also I have been told I need to flush the chemicals away using final phase, but I have also been told to use just water ?
Also what do you guys do once you have harvested ? Do you leave the buds in a dark place for a couple of days, before finally smoking ?Maggot Reviewed by Maggot on . First, don't go by the hairs to see if its ready, go by the trichomes. Depending on what kind of high you want, you could harvest with cloudy trichomes or amber/cloudy trichs. You can see this with a 30X magnifier/pocket microscope.
Once you see the trichs are almost all cloudy, you could flush your pot with about 2x ph corrected water, and continue feeding just plain water for the remainder of the time.
As for drying, you should trim the leaves off and hang the branches with buds for 5-15 days. After, you should cut off the buds from the branch and cure the buds in a jar for a week or two for optimum taste and high.
Those are pretty basic answers. I have seen all of this information here, it just takes a little bit of looking. There are many threads and sticky's here about all of this information, and many pics and detailed instructions about making the most of your grow.

Point is, to get a decent grow to the point that the OP has gotten it probably was accidental and took much reading. The same reading applies for harvest. Perfection is attainable with the info here, just gotta look for it.
