Bring a copy of your recent medical records, set up proof of residency, and the cash- And you got it made! Oregon would be my 2nd choice. I am not that familiar with the other state's laws, but Oregon and California (I favor Northern Cali) are worth checking out.

Basically, it goes like this in California. You get your medical records (1 year's worth is usually sufficient). You get on line and go here-

Pick a doctor - call around, prices vary a lot. In the larger cities, Medi-Cann Clinics are about the cheapest place. Set up your appointment. Go in, have a quick physical, talk to the doc about your use, pay the cute receptionist who hands you your recommendation, and walk out legal! That simple- takes an hour. Ya gotta love Cali!
