    hydro stealth cab

    hi,

Im currently building a lowryder stealth cab, using 2 250w super nova's, and 100mm extaction, and 2 hydros. ill be chucking out the budget ballasts, any one suggest 2 quality ballast, thats not going to get 2 hot 4 this design?

    the two chambers will measure 100w x 110h x 60cm d, the vent cab is 40 w x 220h x60cm d (overall size 140 w x220 h x 60cm).

Sorry i cant realy make out whats going on from that diagram.. then again i am kinda stoned but any way.. put those ballasts some where out side the chamber dood. I actually have one of my extractor fans exhausting onto my ballasts and thats helps keep temps down a bit
    peace ziggy

There are several ballasts available that produce very very little heat and make zero sound... call around...there are some european 220volt ballasts that a NICE.. a single ballast runs two lights (dual 600 or dual 1000).. no heat... no hummmmm

    thanks for your response,
cool, ill definatly have a look around for those european 1's,
alternitilvly, could a metal baracket mounting the ballasts reflect the heat away from the cab? if its goin 2 be a problem, as i was hoping that the ballast etc cab (as in the design) is acting as an intake vent bringing in cool air be enough to cool them?

    much appreciated
