Yes the roots just grow into the water. Obviously you didn't bother to read read the whole post i made, i told you my yield. Although yield depends on strain, growing conditions, experience etc...........

Hydroponic help I have a 6 slot 5inch net pots basic hydroponic system 18 gallon container... i have a 400watt ballast light system that using HPS and MH bulbs.. my system is one of those corny basic beginner ones and iam wondering if it will be too small for 20-30 inch plants using a sea of green method. i am wondering if i should built a custom system for flowering that would be bigger and more room for roots? Hydroponic help
I usually don't let them get bigger than 15" and remember to FIM/top tem this is key. I have 8' ceilings in my grow room but short bushy plants work better!

Hydroponic help
So you go find an old thread and post to call me a liar? Well for your information the plants you see in flower were a sativa strain that I had never grown before and no I didn't get that much off those. If you would have read around a little more theres a few people on here that have been in my grows and know that I can pull up to 10oz. per plant. What I also find interesting is that 3 of the 4 threads you started on this site are all in the plant problems forum.
