Okay;
Keep in mind i'm growing automatic lowrider/ak47 plants, so they're short.
The big leaves are turning yellow. The ones down bellow already ckacked.
I guess it is a heat problem, althought i though about N deficiency too. I don't use nutes very often, used 3 times and 1.5 lts for 7 plants. The soil is pretty good, bonsai style.
I water them two times a day, but just a little each time. Like 2 lts. I realize it would be better to water them just once a day, but when i feel the dry soil i wait a little and water them.

Hope you guys can help me out. I kinda lowered the temperatures by leaving the door open. Now they're around 80.

Nikolaus, I agree with you I think it is a heat issue too. Do you have a fan blowing directly on your plants? I am also think that you may be over watering them, I know the top of the soil dries out but it may not be only be dry for the first inch or two of the soil and wet beneath. Home Depot and Walmart have a cheap wand type device that checks how wet the soil is towards the bottom of you pots. I think it costs around $5. Are you on a 24/7 light cycle?

Hey Luna,

Well, i'm on a 20/4 schedule. Leaving the door open made the temps drop 10 degrees, being round 80s during the day and 70 at night.
Do the damaged leaves get back to normal? Or they will die and the others remain ok?
I actually noticed that the dying (yellow) leaves are right above new leaves, and they seem to be dividing the main stem. By that i mean that the come from the main stem just next to each other, the healthy and the ill.
Any clues?
I'll water them just once for now on. I can see the roots coming out in the bottom as well.

Nikolaus 70-80 degree range should be good. I'd trim the dead parts off but it's hard to tell with these AFs I just realized that I have two different phenos in my four girls!

Nikolaus please understand I am no expert, I leave that to stinky and rusty.

I do have some input that may help.

First your soil looks like clay or mix without much organic matter in it. Is it
a namebrand soil? If it is void of organic matter it won't hold water and you will have to overwater it. Watering 2 times a day is way toooo much.
I suggest getting a good brand of soil with loads of organics in it. this should help to retain moisture in the soil. Add some peralite to the mix also. I use Fox Farm Ocean Forest with perlite added with good results. I need to water about every 3 days.

Next I would move the 400w hps up a foot. A 400w bulb a foot from plant will get pretty hot. Hold your hand between the plant and the light see if your hand gets hot, if it does its tooo close to the plant.

You shouldn't have to have a fan on High blowing on the plant. This will aid in water evaporation and make overwatering a need. Just circulate the air around the plant with a good supply of fresh air coming in and this should help.

These are just my thoughts use as needed.

Thanks for the replies. Well, i have to mention that the 400w bulb does not burn my hand and the yellow leaves are in the bottom or in the middle of the main stem. I suppose if the light was overheating the top leaves would be damaged. But yes, i moved the lamps a little up. Actually i lowered them sometime ago to avoid stretching. Is it okay to level them up now the plants are grown up?
The fan is blowing between the lamp and the plants to avoid the heat, i typed it badly.
The soil is half bonsai mix and have regular humus soil. I used it on other growing and it was alright. I think it holds some water.
Today the babies are a day off water and as the temps are bit lower the soil still feels a little wet. Do you water your plants each 3 days with a 400w bulb too? I might start a 2 or 3 day schedule.
Unfortunally none of the moderators haven't said a word yet. I hope they can post their opinios, as the plants are under risk.
I didnt notice any new yellow leaves, but i guess the ones that are already yellow will die soon.
I understand that if they have a nitro deficiency the yellow leaves are helping the new ones. But how can i tell it is a N deficiency?

Magnesium (Mg) deficiency:
Magnesium deficiency will exhibit a yellowing (which may turn brown) and interveinal chlorosis beginning in the older leaves. The older leaves will be the first to develop interveinal chlorosis. Starting at leaf margin or tip and progressing inward between the veins. Notice how the veins remain somewhat green though as can be seen in figure 15.
Notice how in figure 16 and 17 the leaves curl upwards like they're praying? They're praying for Mg! The tips may also twist.
This can be quickly resolved by watering with 1 tablespoon Epsom salts/gallon of water. Until you can correct nutrient lockout, try foliar feeding. That way the plants get all the nitrogen and Mg they need. The plants can be foliar feed at ½ teaspoon/quart of Epsom salts (first powdered and dissolved in some hot water). When mixing up soil, use 2 teaspoon dolomite lime per gallon of soil.
If the starting water is above 200 ppm, that is pretty hard water, that will lock out mg with all of the calcium in the water. Either add a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of epsom salts or lime (both will effectively reduce the lockout or invest into a reverse osmosis water filter.
Mg can get locked-up by too much Ca, Cl or ammonium nitrogen. Don't overdo Mg or you'll lock up other nutrients.

Hello Dread,
Well my plants dont seem to have a Mg deficiency, as the process described does not apply. They get yellow first on the tips than the entire leaf. They turn light brown after that.
I suppose it was a heat problem.
What would overwater do?
The leaves tips are pointing down, as they kneeling, not praying eheh...
