Vegitation Time?
This is only my 2nd grow inside & i was wondering how long should i let my plants vegitate before turnning back the time to 12-12 & start flowering them?I was worried about them being to short & bushy but when i rasied the light up they took off.I figure they been vegging about 5 weeks now & i wasn't sure how long i should let them go before flowering time it's been a long time since i did inside grow.Thx for any info!

What kind of height limits you have, lights? You can go as big a wanted bro. Remember she is still going to stretch a bit in flower.

you plant will grow ~1/2 to 2/3 in flower, depending on your strain. so plan accordingly when deciding. if you know your genetics then this should be no problem. if you don't, then just error on the side of caution!

Vegitation Time?
I have a 400 watt hortilux light & theirs 4 nice ladies in there & there about 10 inches high now & real bushy.I'm growing the A.M.S strain & Genetics: Swiss sativa, Swiss indica.I have them in 5 gallon buckets now,but i wished i hadn't put them in that big of bucket, but when i 1st started them i figured i'd go large so they wouldn't get root bound lol & i have atleast 6 foot height which to let them stretch up to the light.

holy hell. how long have were they vegging? you probably have a massive root structure which might cause them to get root bound before they have a chance to grow that big. i'm not positive on that, but it's worth a look. somewhere around here is the forum that deals with why you NEED to transplant your plant. i'll try to find it. live and learn.

Vegitation Time?
Well i let them get some size in the small cup containers before planting them in 5 gal buckets but there only like 5 weeks into veggie so i wouldn,t think they,d be root bound already,i mainly have potting soil alittle sand and 1/2 vermiculite,so they have a soft base to grow in & alot room lol.Should i take them out of the 5 gal buckets & down size to smaller planters say 3/12 gal size?Or just let them grow, there really healthy and there stalks are like pencil size and i hadn't had no signs of yellowing of leaves yet or wilting at all!

i wasn't saying that they are root bound. i'm just saying they were porbably busy growing underneath the soil and not so much above it, that's all.
