    Help with my cheap vape

Ok so i bought a cheap vape with no name for 40$ to see if i like how they work, which I do except mine is not consistent, tried it at 200F which i get little bit of gas or smoke, tried it at 300F which gave me a decent amount but it is like it only gives about 3-5 hits then it is really dark, at 200 i get little hits but can keep going for a while. also is it ok for the herb to hit the heating element or no? and are there any easy ways to keep the herb to not fall onto the vape heating element.

This is a box style and the heating element is tilted

any ideas on things i could try?

    Help with my cheap vape

A good temp range is 365-385 F, but you can't count on an accurate display with the cheap vapes. You should find the vapor range by where you get vapor and the color of your remainss. Start low-where you first start to get some vapor. The high end will be where you get harsh vapor and your remains are black. Your operating range will be between the two extremes. Your remains should be a medium brown. You can increase temp to the harsher vapor range (leftovers dark brown) if you like, but the vapor isn't as clean at higher temps.

At the right temp you should get a few tasty hits. Stirring the bowl and continuing to hit it will finish off the bowl but the final hits won't have the good taste of the first few. That's just the way it is. You're hitting some herb that's already been vaped.

Prop up the back end of the vape to get a better angle. Adjust for a horizontal position. You can also turn it upside down or on its side.

You may not get a good vaping range or consistent results out of a cheapie like this, but hopefully you'll get good enough nice vapor hits to make the case for a better vape.
