Those in line fans are pretty quiet, about as good as you will get. One thing you can do too make it even more quiet is too buy a oversized one and run it with a solid state fan speed controller. This will allow you to dial in your cfm too your cab and also will reduce the noise considerably more then if you were to buy a fan pumping the same cfm but running at max to get that cfm.

I need a very quite exhaust fan to put into a cabinet or a grow tent. PC fans? In-line booster fan? squirrel cage? I need to know what is the absolute quietest fan out there.
