Your town has a sequencer? Or runs tissue samples for DNA analysis? ZOMG!!1!!
Must be nice. Your tax dollars- a couple mil of them- at work, eh?

It is possible to link two growers together if there is a legal question of live plant transfer, or even transfer of product, by running DNA tests on the samples. It's like linking an attacker to his victim by taking a hair sample from his car and comparing the DNA to that of fluids found at the scene. IF the cops find a few bales of weed at one location and a mother plant that is genetically identical at another, that may be used as evidence to make a conspiracy charge stick.

FYI.
