Well... im assuming that most members here are some 2 generations after Stalin or Hitler... anyway, this reasoning works for any number of generations.

Think about your parents. How they met, where they lived, what was their life path until they "make" you. They traded a long path... they were adolescents, children, babies... then remember your grandparents. They also lived a lot of things until met and "make" your parents.

Now im supposing that most members grandparents lived in the Hitlers and Stalins days. Imagine that Hitler or Stalin hadnt existed. Surely the world that time wouldve been different, and maybe one of your grandparents would live somewhere else, or to do something else... and probably wouldnt tread the same life path they treaded, and probably wouldnt met the person they married, or even if they met and married, probably they wouldnt have the same children they had, and even if they had, probably this children (your parents) would have lifes completly different than they had, so probably they would never met, never marry, and so you wouldnt be here right now.

So, even if what Hitler and Stalin did was pretty bad, if they hadnt existed most of us (if not all) also wouldnt be here, thinking how the world would have been without them... :stoned:

I don't know if this goes here and if it doesn't by all means delete it, but I was just wondering from you guys who you thought was worse: Hitler or Stalin? Personally, in spite of the fact that Stalin killed much more people I would still have to go with Hitler. My reasons: The reason behind killing his victims was worse. For him killing 6 million jews was personal. He hated them and essentially wanted them offed. Now with Stalin, though he killed more people, his reasons for Rating: 5
