    pH question

I remember reading if your water pH comes out higher than it went in that means there is nutrient build up? What does it mean if it comes out much lower than it goes in say goes in 5.7 comes out 4.6?

Assume your water coming into house is at 7.0 PH
When you are taking cuttings, to root, you need to bring DOWN your PH to about 5.5 or so. So now a few weeks later they are thriving in the flower room. You will see your PH go DOWN from the 6.5 to perhaps 4.5 due to the plants using up quite a bit of the nutrients including its acidity. So now you will need PH UP and bring it to 6.0 or 6.5.

    Hope that helps

Flush the containers with a gallon or two of RO water..you seem to have some nute build-up that is causing the lower PH runoff, if you were to test the PPM of that runoff I can guarantee it's signifigantly higher than whats going in...you should regularly be flushing anyways..say every 10-14 days or so to prevent any salt build-up. But note, when flushing it's important to follow-up with a balanced nute solution as the plants will actually start to wilt and can dehydrate because of the changes in the osmotic pressure of the root system due to the zero ppm flush and the leaching this causes from the plant itself potentially...so make sure you always follow with fresh balanced nutes so no harm is done.
