Wanted to just load up a backpack and walk the USA? Going from city to city, trade labor for money/clothes/food/bed/
Load a MP3 player down with a ton of music and just travel... leave it all behind and enjoy life.
If I wasn't married and had a lung disease I would do this in a heartbeat. So many times when we drive from point a to point b I stare out the window and daydream of traveling by foot and seeing ever inch of this country I live in. The only worry I would have was making it from point a to point b. Then do it all over again in a another part of the world.
Of course before I set off on this journey I would grow plenty of bud and make a shitload of THC pills, maybe throw in some shrooms.
If for some strange reason we end up divorced this is exactly what I am going to do. Divorce isn't even a consideration, I love her deeply and she's always been there for me.
So anyone else just wanted to pack up and explore?thetourist Reviewed by thetourist on . Have you ever... Wanted to just load up a backpack and walk the USA? Hell yeah! But Id be paranoid the whole time if I had to walk around with enough weed for the trip...
It seems as tho not many people decide to go for walking trips.
It would be crazy if there was this whole community of walking travelers, and you randomly met them at different places in the country, travel (:jointsmiletogether and then part ways.
Money is also a problem for me tho

I've been tempted by the wilderness of America but since I am an ex-cannabis smuggler who has a conviction I would be unable to get a visa.
I travelled round Europe on my bike for a few years before I settled in Holland between 87 and 99. I only returned to England after the death of my mother.
I loved the road , the new places, new people , new experiences.
Up until now I have lived a very fortunate and exciting life and I wouldn't have swapped it for anything , it really was a case of wherever I lay my hat that's my home.
Only in my case it was wherever I lay my helmet, it's against the law to ride without one in Europe.

Yeah baby. I saw Into The Wild for the first time a few weeks ago and since then all I can think about is pulling Chris and dropping off the grid for a while. It's society man!
It's everything though when you think about it. I dunno if you guys do this too, but I like to remove myself from situations and look at it from a totally unbiased and open minded position. It really makes you realize how stupid day to day life is. The things we worry about are usually just some insignificant shit that won't matter in a few days, weeks or years. Has anyone seen Lucky Number Slevin? Love that movie. Josh Hartnett has a line near the beginning when he says he has "adorexia" which is a condition characterized by the complete lack of worry for anything. I think I might suffer from that. I just have this attitude that everything will be alright.
Next summer I'm planning on quitting construction a few weeks early before school starts in September. I'm gunna pack up my truck with some supplies and my best friend and just drive.
