I saw a new show that talk about shops in frisco that sell weed to thoses over 18, they said this is a promblem cause kids under 18 are getting people to buy it for them, I was surprised I did not know any thing like this was even going on here in the U. S., to those of you who live there what is it like. Iam asking this cause if we made it legal what would it be like, according to this news show it was a big promblem, so let me know..thanks

There are worse things in life than giving pot to minors... Like buying booze for minors which can actually KILL THEM!!!! Seriously, the health risks are NOWHERE NEAR as bad as alcohol, tobacco or even caffeine! Anyone who opposes these wonderful coffee shops in Cali should go kill themselves.... The governator himself even stated that "marijuana is not a drug".. But I heard Bush, the rightwing nut job, has tried extra hard to shut them down... His drunken ass can drop dead for all I care. If you drink alcohol you have NO RIGHT to bash recreational/medical pot users!

Iam sorry if i was misleading, I was not trying to put it down, I was just surprised when I saw this on tv, I did not know anything like this was even out there, were people could go do town just like asterdame and by weed, and my qustion was how is it working? is it working well enough that we can show the rest of the country?

In some ways my friend it is going well even though it is still considered technically illegal by or federal gov but the state gov says that is ok people still get sited and it gets dropped in court a huge waist of time and not just anyone can go into the stores you have to have a legitamate reason to have a medical card and then you can purchase the prescribed amount of trees as of the incidents in sf im not sure but it is going to be taken care rather quickly in so cal people try to be more discreet about thier doings

when i visit san fran people on the streets literally force you to try to buy weed from them. it's a crazy atmosphere. walk down post street for an hour trust me you'll find any drug you want. but yeah as far as medical weed, you can google san fran and medical marijuana delivery and there's guys just riding around on bikes all day delivering to just about anyone who has cash.

Its working well. We have countless shops you can go to and buy pot as long as you got a card. its really awesome to be able to go to a safe freindly place and get some pot and know its legal. Yeah I remember my 1st dispensry experience was great actually getting to see something like they have in amsterdam was really cool. Everytime I go into its the greatest feeling and being able to alwasy see the dankest stuff. Back in the old days before moving to cali I would look at hightimes and wish I could try just 1 of the strains at some point in my life! Now flipping through a hightimes I get excited when they have a bud I havent seen around. So its a really cool way of getting weed and Im very thankful for it. So when it heads your way it will be awesome. I just hope the rest of the country hurries up with legalization!

Oh and about the kid getting weed from a card holder....stuff happens no systems perfect.

I am not so sure about people "forcing you to try to buy weed from them". Or maybe that was just an exaggerated exaggeration.

I lived in SF for a few years and never got that vibe. As far as little kids buying weed, oh well. Better than cigarettes.

i went to san fran 2 summers ago and im not joking there were older black dudes sellin shit right in front of the clubs

i picked up a bag of some purple from this 65 year old dude and i asked him how and why he is selling and he said he just gets it from the club and sells his extra stuff

i dont think its a big deal, people are always going to be selling weed, there is no age limit with weed because it is illegal no matter what age you are

someone who buys this crap doesnt understand basic business. Buy low and sell high. Dealers are not buying $400 oz. to sell to kids. Does some of the tax paid MJ end up in the hands of none card carrying californians, sure! but I assure you alot more non taxed black market $200 oz. end up in kids hand. maybe this is why something with the demand of MMJ deserves greater attention!
