Growing Other Veggies Along side

Hey, I don't want to break any rules, I hope that I am not. I just wanted some of your quick 2 cents on growing other veggies, tomatoes, squash, whatever!
My question is, what are some that are easy to grow along side, w/ similar basice soil indoor setup.
I would like a whole bunch of fried green tomatoes. I guess, do other plants generally bloom like lowryder, or do they depend on photoperiod? Hmmm? See what I am getting at here? Help please! Love to hear see some of your experiences with other yummy foods.

I'm having some luck with Tomatoes in DWC.
Also, Basil in DWC

Basil, Dill, and sweet peppers in coco.

Got 2 pineapples in a wastebasket with 4 gallons of water and an airstone.
Just started 2 more heritage tomatoes in 24 Gal, rubbermaid tubs.
Be happy to bore you with baby pictures if you so much as blink.

Started doing this because Tomato seeds are cheap.
Once I can grow the best tomatoes on the planet, I'll apply those skills to da herb.

That DWC Tom. bush is now over 7' tall with more than 100 fruits.
