I've now grown 5 generations of "Obama"for my patients.

Clones were purchased from APC in SF when they were open for biz as a dispensary. They are now consultants only but in the day, were named "best club of SF for 2009". I don't remember hearing any reference to "Kush". They simply called it "Obama".

I was told Obama was an 80-20 Sativa/Indica clone with an effect similar to SD which was what I originally wanted to grow. They had no diesel clones at the time, but did have Obama and Romulan. I went with it. My patients and I are happy I did so.

Obama's medical effects come on VERY fast and are very energetic - with a mere two inhalation titration. More is often times not necessary.

Optical, tactile, & sound stimulus perception is significantly heightened during the first hours. Focus is intensified. Often sensory perceptions become cognative seeds for in depth and pleasant cogitations in a stream of conciousness fashion, sometimes interrupted by another sensory stimulus. A positive aura sensation is generated oftentimes creating humorous cognitions about a current cogitation. (giggling)

There seems to be very little dizzying, loss of balance, or other "physical" effects from this strain. It is NOT a couch effect at all. The medical effects fade off VERY slowly lasting 4 hours from inhalation dosing. Second dosing with the strain doesn't seem to increase stimulus perception as much as the first but it comes on just as fast. Other effects remain the same.

SERIOUS cotton mouth often ensues from inhalation dosing with this strain so stay hydrated. Hunger is also intensified.

Application theories: ADHD clients seem to do very well with this as do other "psych" ailment patients. It might also be good for wasting syndrome patients but thankfully, I have no personal experience or patients with that malady. These theories rest upon Obama's mind focusing and mouth effects.
