Smells like Haze, extreme couch lock?

Does anyone know why my bright green nugs, that smell like haze would give me a heavy couch lock? I can't find any indica quality in it's looks or anything. Are there strains that are deceptive like that?

well i hang at the MNS forum alot and am currently growing a few Hazes (MangoWidow) to be exact...alot of growers including myself how found pheno's among haze varieties such as SSH, MangoHaze, MangoWidow, etc. which although they appear sativa (and genetically are hazes by definition) there are definitely plants that have couchlock roch your socks type of stones yet appear very sativa in bud appearance yet are from Hazy genetic lines...SSH has a nice 8wk pheno to be found, MangoHaze I understand has a 9wk pheno, both of which would be very indica dominant in terms of effect

Just because it looks and smells like Haze doesn't mean that it is. It is difficult to correctly identify a strain after it has been dried/cured. You can have a rough guess by how the high feels, sativas and indicas are obviously different in feel, but guessing strain spot on is not so easily done. Taste, smell and feel can be affected by how it was grown, the length of time it was grown for and how it was dried and cured. In those ways I suppose you could consider it deceptive.
