Hidden grow rooms....

I am in the process of building a hidden grow room in a basement.
I would love pix of other hidden grow rooms to pull ideas off of that may work with mine as well.
I will post pix of mine in a day or so....
I only have a passage way framed in and the hidden door installed as of today. I hope to get it skinned up after Turkey day, then I will start building the veg area then the flowering area in the hidden area.
If you have pix of the construction, I would love to see those too.... but finished work is good too.

how you doing serpentine? I dont have any advice off the top of my head for a hidden space but maybe if you took pics of your area we (cann.com) could give tips on the stealthiness of your area.

I figure with a bit of anonymity and not saying where the stealth grow room is... folks wold not mind posting about theirs...

Here are some pix.
The house was built in 1960 on top of the plot of a burned out house. Everything was cleared out and the new house built. The house is slightly down hill from the road it faces, and in the pic you can see where the high point of the earth has been dug out in the earth area, the street is about 7-10 higher on the other side of that wall so there is drainage/run off which I guess is why they did not make the entire basement with a finished concrete floor. The area I am standing in to take the pix of the framed wall I built is as long as the house, but only half as wide. The other half is the earth part which was divided by pillars and half walls. One of the previous owners busted out a section of the half wall probably to be able to use the earth side for storage (as they built shelving on the earth side) and also probably to make it easier to put in the central HVAC system.
Anyway, it is in the area that the half wall was removed where I am building the wall with the hidden door. To the right of this area, there are three half walls with floor to rafter book shelves which I will cover from behind to make the half wall disappear. On the left of the area I am building in there was two half walls that have already been filled in and shelves and whatnot have been created there.

First pic is of the area framed in with the door attached.
Second pic is just of the door, with the camera turned to the side.
Third pic is of the cam on its side with the door open.
fourth pic is the area I will be clearing out, relaying plastic, and then building the gro area. I am thinking I will be able to use both the natural temp and the HVAC system for my heating and cooling needs.
The fifth pic is of the area that is not dug down completely as low as the rest of the basement and the area I intend to build and place my veg cabinet.

not going to have shelves infront of it, but hanging stuff.... extention cords, shovels, just crap you keep in the garage or basement but hang on the wall...

I was just talking to an old friend of mine about hidden rooms, and he once saw where a guy had a room in his basement lined vertically with knotty pine tongue-in-grove panels. One of the knots popped out for a finger hole, and the seams of the panels made the hidden door 100% stealth. I loved this idea and thought it was worth sharing.
