Help me Diagnosis through my pics!

Grown hydro in higromite. 5 weeks old. WeedHound's nute schedule. Switched it to 12/12 today and put in 1000w HPS. About 16" from plant. Spray to runoff with Liquid Light everyday. Using RO water. Went away for a few days to visit girlfriend and left someone else in charge of plants and came back to leaves curling up and brownish spots. Not sure if its overwater or nute burn.

Stop the liquid light immediately......it was NEVER meant to be used more than twice a week and I think the buildup is killing your plants off.

What numbers is the rest of your setup at? ppms? ph?

Should I foliar spray them with clean water to rinse the leaves off? Ppms 900- 1000, PH around 6

Guess that explains why they surged in growth first time I gave them liquid light but haven't grown up very much.

Did I just ruin my plants? It has yet to experience its first 12 hour darkness cycle, it will start at midnight, should I wait a week or 2 and keep it at 18-6 for now?

I would if I were you. Not trash them, but give them a week to health up a little before you turn them.

Dutchmaster makes great products but they ARE strong. Your leaves look fairly burned but if new growth appears normal you should still get a viable yield. It wouldn't even hurt to back the light off a foot or two for a day two to ease stress as well. Easy lighting, your nute numbers sound good, give them a week to gather their wits and turn them then.

    Good luck.

And no, I wouldnt foliar spray the leaves myself.....just stop using it.

I've had both good and bad experiences with LL.....and I've tried it as little as 1/2 strength of recommended dose and every third or fourth day (shouldn't be used more than twice a week) and still come up with some leaf burn here and there so all in all I haven't been thrilled with LL although sometimes plants take a real jump when you use it.

But yeah, with those plants I'd stop using it altogher. They have enough going on.

RO water, no calmag, spray to runoff- BAD BAD gardener! spank spank spank! You're leaching nutes out of the leaves- it's called reverse foliar feeding- plus you NEED to add calmag to any distilled or RO water. Go grab a bottle NOW and change out your res to include RO water plus calmag up to 250ppm before you add the rest of the nutes.

And only use those crazy hi-test grow supplements EXACTLY as the label says!

I "assumed' he was using Cal Mag since he said he was following my nute schedule. If not using it Biggins, Stinky is right.....start asap.
