I Was wondering....I'm Doing My first grow ever with some floro tube bulbs and due to budget onlyl have the white temp bulbs but they're 4' long.


Anyways I have 3 plants a pretty good of the way through flowering probably 10 weeks or so or more and they're looking real nice up top but of course the bottom is dead, it's pretty much all main cola there are bud clusters in other places but not getting enough light to amout to anything.


I was wondering If i chopped the top now because it's getting under 50 degrees in there daily now and with no access with money or a lens i wont know exactly when they're ready and hang them up elsewhere in the dark but let the rest of the plant keep growing for as long as it will to get the rest of the buds to mature. Would this make any sense to even try or after the top removed would the plant slowly die off?
