Green Soil...WTF
Hey all...Winter is already here in New England
I have many grows under my belt but this problem is a first...
Actually this is my first indoor winter grow....Im keeping this one small
The soil and perlite vermaculite has turned green...its like a layer of green algea or something...has not effected plants yet...what the hell is it?
The room is in the 70 degree range, however its on a cold floor (the garage downstairs has no heat) The humidity is 40 ish percent.
The soil is a blend of MG and Soilite potting mix...The plants are a month old...a coupe weeks ago I added a small dose of DynaGrow ferts to the gallon of spring water I bought at the store....Same technique Ive always used.
The plants were under 4 43 watt cfl...I just switched them to a 600 MH.
The consistancy of the soil seems wierd on all my plants.
