sativa advice
last summer i had a scroungy female bag plant growing outside in a pot. it was pathetic looking so i cut its top off and shoved it in some dirt and stuck it in my veg room. it sat there for a while then took off in 2 directions, two plants. i trained it sideways and topped it a few times. its main stalks are as hard as wood, like a stick in the woods, i needed real pruning shears to trim its older branches. so i put it in flowering 50 days ago. its leaves are pencil thin and it's branches are lanky and skinny as hell. its almost 4 feet tall tied sideways.
its gotta be an almost pure sativa. i got a lot of strings holding it together, every day another branch needs propped up. the growing buds weigh them down. the one pic is 4 of her colas. the camera dont show it, but they are turning a nice mellow shade of gold, this plant is different from what i ever saw.
im not experienced with real sativa's like this and to be honest, im not sure if there is anything special i should be doing. any input or advice would be well appreciated, or a link to a sativa place. trichs are crystal clear. shes under 600w hps and flouros. she is on canna terra flores npk 2-2-4 and had a pk 13/14 boost 8 days ago. not sure about the fert requirements for sativas. but her colas and buds are exploding, and turning nice golden colors.Sativus Reviewed by Sativus on . sativa advice last summer i had a scroungy female bag plant growing outside in a pot. it was pathetic looking so i cut its top off and shoved it in some dirt and stuck it in my veg room. it sat there for a while then took off in 2 directions, two plants. i trained it sideways and topped it a few times. its main stalks are as hard as wood, like a stick in the woods, i needed real pruning shears to trim its older branches. so i put it in flowering 50 days ago. its leaves are pencil thin and it's branches are Rating: 5

sativa advice
Ok, tanks, anyhow, I found some good info on sativa strains at the OG site. they do require special care and different nute requirements. sativa's have a different amount of chloraphyl than an indica strain. they are slower to flower and dont yeild quite as much, but the bud is supposed to be better. I need to look into this yo-yo thing i read about. i got 3 branches almost hanging straight down towards the floor now. this plant is a challenge.
