THE classic psychedelic album of the 60's, released in 1967, is Electric Music For the Mind and Body, the first album by Country Joe and the Fish. It was recorded and "tested" under the correct conditions by the band, and guaranteed to bring about the desired results.

I do not have the CD, released 1990, which is currently available, because the sound quality is mediocre. I have a decent vinyl reissue. Hopefully, they'll get around to doing a better remastering job for a fresh digital release of the album.

Psychedelic rock Alright, so let's talk about arguably the most mind-blowing genre for the lucky toker...what are your favourite bands, songs, etc.? I've always been partial to Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane (check out the avatar), early Pink Floyd (when they had Syd Barrett), Cream, the Doors, late Beatles, Country Joe and the Fish, Love, the Byrds, the Grateful Dead, etc. Rating: 5
