the genre's not dead, I gave you a perfectly good example of modern psychedelic rock. You just gotta stop living in the past and wise up to the underground music scene. Most of those bands you listed as psychedelic rock bands are also pop music from prior decades. You wont find much psychedelic rock in the pop music category any more.

Im telling you, check out Dr. Dog...also if you have time and are not afraid of new things check out My Morning Jacket...their album "Z" is great.

I've always been partial to Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane (check out the avatar), early Pink Floyd (when they had Syd Barrett), Cream, the Doors, late Beatles, Country Joe and the Fish, Love, the Byrds, the Grateful Dead, etc. Rating: 5
