An illustrated guide to some Cannabis strains
Old school commercial strain that is still being run in New England. Frosty, outstanding tolerance of abuse, thick leathery leaves, high yield in all types of systems.
Outstanding for anxiety.

There are a few iterations of the Sweet Tooth line from Spice of Life. Shown is a flowering Sweet Tooth #3 that needs a drink, a vegging SWT, and a BlockHead that is re-vegging. It's a high-yielding grapefruit strain and commonly cashcropped.

Afghani x Iranian from Plan B Collective. Anti-insomnia. Crops easily under indoor lighting conditions. Excessively frosty. This is a true hash plant. Sorry I've got no cola shots- they are SPEACTACULAR. Best bag appeal of anything I run, or at least in the top 3, and one of my favorite strains for anxiety. 7 week finish is manageable. Spicy-sweet hashy flavor.

Nirvana Standard. Just a basic Haze with an accelerated finish. Structure is pretty indica and I just don't get excited about this one.

A Toronto commercial strain crossed with an American medical strain (see 'Bogglegum' entry later in thread). True wild blueberry aroma. Beautiful silver buds. Plant is very unruly in shape. I intend to outcross her to my BlueMoonRocks male (the BoggleGum isn't much better for structure and I don't have access to the BlueJay parent) and fix that before line-breeding it to stability.

BOG seeds. Outstanding structure, IMVHO the burliest plant I've run. The leaves are so thick that the edges ruffle up. They are like shoe leather. The main stem is like a tree trunk even on young plants. For bud production it is nothing special, but for breeding sturdiness into an otherwise weak line, it has a ton of potential. Look closely at the pics to see the ruffles. Oooh pretty!

BOG seeds. Very frosty, fruity, and sweet. Good medical strain for pain- it's quite strong. Seems to pass along the surface resination in crosses (see BlueJay x Bogglegum above). I love it!
Shown are various life stages. The last picture is my male.

IR Seeds. A 3-way hybrid of C99, G13, and Northern Lights. Light feeder, fast rooter, super fast and frosty finish, but the best part is the fruity sweet scent. Pineapple while growing, grapefruit and gin when cured. Body effects that are more euphoric than other body stones I've encountered, almost sexual when over-done. The soil-flowering plant shown is the actual individual that placed 4th in the 2008 East Coast Nugs n Jugs competition.

West Coast Seeds. The ones I got are not from WCS; they are an inbred-line derivative from my area (western New England). It's originally a cross of Mighty Mite and a pre-Dutch-era Skunk of some sort. The high is said to be uplifting. I've never smoked it, but a DD x MM backgross I had at a festival last month in Maine was definitely a good solid spicy-skunky flavor and good up high. It has semi-autoflowering traits and finishes Sept15 at 45'N lat. It begins to flower earlier than other strains. I have no flower pics because all the plants were given away to be finished outdoors after I selected a vigorous mother to keep.
