ph problem in hydro set up

Ok here we go It is a indoor set up in 6 inch pipe with plastic net pots filled with clay balls the system has a res of 90 gal with a circulating pump and air stones. It has a main pump that fills the tubes then it drains into the res and keeps recirculating until the pump timmer stops. The water sorce is tap water that comes out at 7.8 or so the ppm of water is around 480.The age of plants are around 1 month cloned. The fert is a 2 part I cant remeber the name but it is a high end brand hydro fert. The lights are 1000 hps in cool hoods venting outside. The air temp highest point is 80 deg with lights on and 74 deg with them off.The humidity is at 45 % . The lights are on 18/6.The room has a fresh air system.

When is the last time this system of yours was cleaned? I mean res, piping, the whole works. How long have you been using the system?

Thats kinda where I was going GG lol. From the description it sounded like the build up on the plastic pieces of the filter in my fish tank.

You still aren't giving all that precise information, like, I have no idea what your pH is for example... but how do you take apart and clean the system, and when was the last time you did it?
Also your tap water is WAY too hard to be running a standard hydro nute on. You are going to need to switch to 'hard water formula' or RO supplemented with calmag.
What is your reservoir temperature by the way?

I posted that form so you could copy it into your relpy.

ph problem in hydro set up

If thats the PPM out of the tap that would kill humans almost. I would not drink it. Well water would be full of iron and minerals up the but. Coming from a facility that water would be so full of chlorine at that rate.

I think he is talking after ferts or we in hydro call nutes.

We need to know PPM before anything is added.

You need to fill out the form man. I think we also need to know a constant reservoir temp. Room temps aren't bad but if the rez gets to 80 oh crap.

Rez temps should be around 68 to 70 for max oxy in the water.

One of my bro's just had his rez get tooo cold. My bust we forgot the fish tank heater for winter. It got to 60 and below that. Stems on 1 month into flower went purple and now all the main leaves are turning yellow real quick and falling off.

What kind of pump is it ?? I ask to make sure it's mag drive so no oil or greese can infiltrate the rez. You could go a long time and the all sudden like BAMM. Screwed up.
