If, according to del..., we have to "keep your personal comments to each other where they belong" then, like, whats this place for? And, if del... deleted a thread just because he/she wasn't interested in the topic of the thread, then is it safe to say that he/she is abusing their 'power'? I'm just confused.. whatever the reason we need mods on forums, im sure its not to delete threads that dont interest them, lock threads that question why they did what they did, and to pretty much tell the users of the forum to keep their opinions to themselves. Does he/she want this forum to never have any threads or what? Im probably gonna get flamed and/or banned for this thread, but hey, you can always delete it

do you really want threads like "post a sentence made of random words" on the main page of a pot site? is that the kind of portrait you want the newcomers to see? now if it was alone in the midst of threads it would be different, however at the time of that post the poster already had 15% of the general room covered with threads pertaining to anything but cannabis...and the personal threads have a place too. not here tho...we have plenty of play rooms set aside just for that activity. the general room is the entry point for most newcomers and 1st are impressions can only happen once. all these personal relationships that develope here are great but does not mean this place is meant for all the "just wanna say high" threads and all the "love ya..." ones...which like i already said are great...but out of place. if the "MOVE" function worked i would use it but until it does it's just the way it is...

actualy del incase you havent noticed most of the people who are geting these "first impressions" are people sitting in their homeroom in high school with a group of kids surounding them snickering because little jimmy said "weed",not all of them of course but the people geting the first impression are the most likely to like a thread like that...i didnt like it so i didnt participate but if they want to fuck around and have a little fun by all means they most certainly should...but that is just my opinion.personaly i would love it if we could get rid of all the kiddies posting about how a cough syrup trip 'changed their life' but i cant so ill live with it like i have to and just skip over them because looking past one post will not hurt me as it wont hurt you...unless your like modman and unessisary post weaken you like kryptonite or something,but the point is with 5,000+ members you will never get rid of all those post so live and let die.just my two cents have a nice fat joint for me kick back and let the world drift away the stupid post wont stop you
