To late to clone?
Its never to late to take a clone....you can take a clone even if your plant is in bud or has buds
You want a small lower inside inner branch..... change shop lights to 24/7 it takes a person in dirt 3-4 weeks to root the bud... then about 2 weeks after rooting branches will grow out of the bud.
I believe this is called jumping a generation when you go through the plants entire life cycle and pull a clone after its been budding for awhile and revert it back to vegetive growth
