Ever think that like we are just some higher beings video game? Somewhere some guy is controling us. We are just one massive RPG or something? And like we are to our video games when we die its just like oh well I can restart with anew person or play another video game? Man I am tripping out! I is starting to scare me.

The problem of knowledge and skepticism is a beauty. THis is what I love about the matrix trilogy so much. How can we ever know what is real? Signals going to our brain is how we percieve what is around us, if those signals are coming from a video game stimulus, they are no less real!

You mentioned a "...guy (who) is controlling us." This was the basis of one of Descartes studies- the "evil genius." The premise is, how can we know what is a trick by a hypothetical evil genius. He could be creating everything we percieve w/some kind of deception, and we CANNOT prove otherwise, with one exception- our own consciousness! If he can trick us into thinking our own consciousness exists, then there was an ego to trick in the first place, so we must exist. But that's as far as we can go; the rest is merely electronic signals, regardless of input source!

One of my favorite activities is lucid dreaming, and one of the initial levels of lucidity is simply engaging in this very questioning process you are doing. Then when it comes up in a dream, and you have the ability to identify it as such, it becomes possible to manipulate its (your!) elements.

Yeah man that is crazy. Because even though I didnt write it in because i forgot because I'm mad baked but it was tripping me out because all the brain does is send electric messages to place, who knows where those messages are comming from? it is crazy shit to think about.

If life was a video game i think the entity playing my game would throw it out get pissed off that everything bad happens to his character run to his computer and start writing a terrible gamespot review.

It's okay. ^.^ It's a hacker zine. Well, it originated as one. Now it's just a cultural underground zine. I quit reading it when it stopped being about hacking as much. It's got information like how to make money off of illegal dumpster-diving and teaches you how to lock pick and stuff.
