    Autoflower lighting?

    im at about week 4 with my ak47 x lowrider #2 and its about 4 inches tall...im currently using a MH bulb with a 20/4 light cycle...should I switch to my HPS or leave it MH all the way through?

    Autoflower lighting?

    When you see bud-set, that is the time to switch to HPS. Normally with a non-auto plant, you switch to HPS at some point bewteen week 0 and 3 of flower, depending on whether you are trying to control stretch.

    It's actually been about 2 weeks since this picture was taken. So in total, about 35 days between the 2 photos I think. It's just fine, and it's only getting 12 hours of light. But you get the idea of where it was when I switched and where it is now. At the time I never stopped to think about when I should have switched it, it didn't have a whole lot of say, it was the lone auto-flower red-headed step child in my room. I even ran outta water once and fed it with all runoff.
    I think they are pretty tuff though is what I was getting at. Good luck with yours, hope it turns out well for you, I know I am pleasantly surprised by mine.:jointsmile:

    Autoflower lighting?

    Ok i switched the lighting yesterday and the hairs have grown almost twice as long overnight...I will give it its first flowering feeding tonight when the lights turn back on....I teaspoon of Botanicare pure blend soil formula mixed with a spoon of molasses...:thumbsup:
