Recommendations for Canna Aqua Vega A+B & Aqua Flores A+B
hello all-
i so hate the search function on this site. after about 10 minutes of using my browsers ctrl+F feature on the 1st page of results for "canna nutrients," no relevant info.
so my query is this: has/does anyone use Canna's line of nutrients? specifically, Aqua Vega A+B, and Aqua Flores A+B. and if anyone has/does, would you be so kind as to share your feeding schedule? also, how have your results been, and what else do you use in conjunction with the Canna nutes?
i'm ordering them on wednesday, along with some other random supplies.
in case you're wondering, i use an ebb/flow table.
thanks in advance for responses.

I have not used canna but I would mix as they say and have a good meter to run the schedule. You may not find much on search because most use GH nutes. Most nutes are so close to the same and tested on MJ and GH is cheaper. I see the same results useing the lucas formula which saves me on GH, only use micro and bloom the whole grow.
Schedule is just raising the nutes as they go into flower. Some strains can take alot more than others so you must know or learn what your strain can take in PPM's. A good meter is a must.

well i figured on following the directions, that's a no-brainer. but just want to see if anyone has used the canna brand. if canna brand-users are few and far between, perhaps i'll post a thread on my results.
and perhaps, once i finish off the canna nutes, i'll order some GH and do a pros/cons thread on each.
anyone else? used canna nutes?

I think Bickeybammer uses Canna.
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

I'm a Canna convert. It is my #1 top choice for a hydro beginner nute system. I have run it both with and without meters, because I am lucky to have city water that complements it perfectly.
My background:
My city water comes in just below 200ppm and when the Canna Aqua AB is added at equal proportions up to about 1600ppm the pH goes BAM right to 5.8.
My setup:
E&F Hydroton containerized in quart pots, pre soaked to 6.0 before use!!!
2- 2x4 tables, each on 25gal res
Flood 15 min 6x/day in both day and night
CO2 injection but not to 'enrichment' levels
2k HPS (hortilux) air-cooled
6" vortex cooling room THROUGH the hoods
City water
Add CalMAg to 200-250ppm
Add Canna Aqua A+B
Add any supplements desired
pH to 5.8
1/2 cup cannazym per res
I run multiple strains per table and run my tables as a modified perpetual harvest so there is no 'schedule' per se.
One table runs at 1200-1400 with only CalMag and Canna Aqua Flores AB.
The other table runs at CalMag to 250, Canna Aqua Flores to 1400, GroTek Heavy Bloom and Bloom Fuel to 1800, Sweet at ~1 cup to the whole res.
Plants showing hunger move to stiffer feeding table. Plants just going into the system or near harvest go to lighter nute strength table. This is not ideal, but it is hwo I manage to run up to 38 different strains simultaneously.
All other supplements such as SnowStorm and Silica Blast are given as a foliar feed.
Good luck, it's great stuff.
