It might be because after a while, people generally get their patterns of conservation w.the stuff down, and one bowl or a one hitter becomes their norm, whereas most of us are just like "let's see how high we can get- might as well fill my bong with dark storm clouds, and repeat, until I can't breathe"- then of course you will have a higher tolerance!

Because you will run across an old dude who can hang from time to time, I don't think getting older inherently means a lower tolerance.

Hey ! Hey ! I resemble that last remark-you whipper-snapper ! I am the 'old dude'--that can out-toke ya any day of the week ! lol I've been toking for 32 years and I can easily toke up a 1/4 a day..between my girlfriend and I,we're lucky to make a 1/4 last 2 days ! lol
