Kannabis seed is illegal in the good old USA! If customs finds Kannabis seed they confiscate it and send you a letter the contraband has been confiscated and that is it. Let the seed bank know and have the letter as proof and most seed banks will ship the seed again.

How does customs find the seeds? do they search little envelopes?

It happens from time to time. It is not a big deal. If it happens most any seed bank will send replacements.

when i read these thoughts over here i fell very joyfull ppl.....where i live it is illegal to cultivate seeds but it is legal to own them (if you are a collector, yeah right)....anyway, my seeds dealer is a legitimate one....i know his name, his company address, his phone numbers and such....the guy runs a web site, you can order on-line over secure ssl certificates, you can call him on the phone plus you pay the stuff the following day....that is when the courrier arrives with the stealth packaged seeds.....this way, there's no waiting for like weeks and stuff....of course i use a false name and an address other than where the grow room is......i wonder why you can't have seed retailers based on the US? the seeds i order come from well known breeders such Dutch Passion,Nirvana,Serious Seeds etc.......if i get to spend around 100 us dollars for the merchandise i get free delivery which otherwise costs around 10 us dollars....next day guaranteed....no worries for customs and such, as the seeds are already within territory
