Definitely rapid rooters. Especially if you are doing soil.

When you take them out of the bag they will feel moist/damp. That is the level of watering you want to maintain. Not soaked, Not dry, just moist. Also, don't use the hole provided, it's too big and inhibits root growth. Use an xacto or other sharp device to poke a hole in the bottom or in the material next to the hole so that the stem is held firmly all the way into the rapid rooter. a snug fit is what i would call it.

I've built 3 different aero cloners following DIY instructions on this site with very little success. Don't let that sway you from trying it though, everyone else seems to be getting the hang of it.

I prefer the humidity dome. I have my bottom tray, then on top of that i have one of those trays with spots for 72 plugs. I fill the bottom tray with just enough water to peak through the holes in the upper tray. Then i put my clones in there, mist 2-3 times a day, and within 1-2 weeks i have my hands full with thriving clones.

Cloning is still the hardest part of growing for me.
