What should i do w/ male plant?

My single precious plant has turned to be male after 2 weeks of flowering.

What can i do w/ it?

What is the amount of THC in the male bud and can i just smoke it? if i can when to harvest for the good male bud?:rastasmoke::rastasmoke:

if you plan to use the room again i would move him because his pollen will get everywere and possibly meet up with any future females and ruin them.they really dont produce much

It's the only plant i have right now. I plan to change the room coz my friend will move to live in that room. I aware about pollination so now i got 8 new seedlings ready to go out of the germination chamber but i think i can put them togather coz i think something might happen to the male plant b4 those seedlings are ready to bud:rasta:.

personally i would just yank it, if you have 8 babies going there going to be on diff light schedules and it really is just a waste of energy, that's just my opinion though .

now i put it in the new same room w/ the babies in 24/0 light. i do this just for decoration. It look so bushy after released it out of the bending frame (i use a 2 metres tall frame to put the light fixture on and to bend and tie the branches).

i project the light diaganally to my pots but later i have to move it just over the plans then may be put that male outside.:rastasmoke::rastasmoke:

oh yeah about the hermi, which bud will come out 1st? male? female?
just wanna know for a liltle light in the black hole called hope, coz it my first plant:rasta:

You COULD try forcing it to become hermi which I believe is what your asking? Screw with it's light cycle enough and it MIGHT produce a few female flowers - with a few small and extremely seed packed buds (unless you diligently clip off every pollen sack that he-she produces). Doesn't seem likely that it would be worthwhile to try though, unless you just want an interesting project to see if it would work. I don't know how likely it is to become hermi anyway, either. I believe it is MUCH more common in female plants then in males, but I did have a male that turned hermi from light stress so I know it's possible.

I would suggest killing it off and drying it for a couple of weeks. Then, cut up the stems and crumble the leaves into a cooking pot. Add enough peanut or olive oil to just cover the material and bring it up to a simmer on the stove. Lower the heat just a bit and let it cook for around 20 minutes or so. Strain off the oil and dispose of the plant material. Use the oil in brownies, cookies, or similar. Or better yet, stir a couple of spoonfuls into hot egg-nog :-) You should feel the effects within an hour, and it should last for several hours after that.

Males and material from vegetative (non blooming) plants do contain THC et al - just not in high enough concentration in the plant matter to make smoking them worthwhile. They do work for cooking very well, however, because you are extracting what cannabinoids are present while disposing of all of the unwanted lumber and greenery.

thx 4 the long comment my friends and i think that we have to put it outside coz the sun is 12 hours so that it can pop more buds (and more thc maybe) then i'll hash it or butter it whatever. i like your cooking recipe but i just convert my kitchen(which never been used as kitchen) to a new grow room 2 days ago.

Heh, well mine didn't exactly 'work' in that I wasn't trying to turn it hermi ;-/ I wanted to get some pollen off of it to breed with, but at the same time wanted it out of my bloom chamber. I put it in isolation in a closet and covered it with a 5 gallon bucket during its dark period. Unfortunately, it had a few very long nights when I would forget to uncover it, and a few very long days when I'd forget to cover it.... I wasn't to worried about it since all I really wanted to do was keep it isolated while a few pollen sacks matured.
