Nah Skeet, I've only been doing this about 4 years. If that! But genetic archiving has been important to me all along, even more so than bud production, so my setup has been designed and continues to be modified to make that possible. It's a lot of work and sometimes it feels like a burden, and I occasionally dream of passing the torch if only I could find someone I trusted for both grow skills and a similar philosophy of growing weed. No grow logs recently, but my friend foxysox might have some pictures somewhere...

LocNar- That Papaya is crazygonuts big! And strong, but I find it sucks if it isn't cured for at least 3-4 weeks. The flavor and high change a LOT after jarring. I'm actually hoping to get the Hawaiian Big Bud over the winter; I think I have sourced it and now I have to sweet-talk my buddy out of a handful of seeds! Spider mites should not be significantly worse just because you are in soil actually- their life cyucle includes no soil instars. Thrips DO breed in soil but I have noticed that thrip and mite infestations appear to be almost mutually exclusive! It's odd. Anyway, you try Avid on your moms yet? It's a systemic miticide that is 100% safe in veg and can be applied the first day of flower to protect the plants for about a month. Just a thought.
