prices depend on where you live and the quality of the weed itself. Usually you should get it in a gram (don't pay more than $20, even if its top quality), an eighth (of an ounce aka 3.5 grams, don't pay more than $50), a fourth (I wouldn't pay more than $80.) Also the max prices I listed are pretty high, so I wouldn't pay them unless I'm getting really, really top-quality stuff. Have someone you trust show you what an eighth, a gram, etc. looks like (in terms of how much there is) before you purchase so you don't get ripped off.

You can also get higher amounts (such as half an oz or an oz) for discounts, but that's up to you. An eighth should cover you and a few friends for a couple of weekends if you have low enough respective tolerances. At least that's my experience.

Some people sell in "nickels" and "dimes." There's a lot of variation on those measurements.

Where I'm from, a dime bag is $10. Aka, a gram of cheap stuff that probably has seeds and stems in it. A nickel bag would be $5, enough to get high once.

Some peoples' areas have dime bags as 10 grams, not 10 dollars. That's a whole 'nother ballpark.

Key words there being "my experience" and "low tolerances." A couple of friends and I only smoke about once per week, so an eighth once lasted us for like a month.

an eighth for a month! If i go out on a friday night i would smoke 1/8th in one night and this isnt no shitty weed, i smoked an eighth of white widow in a night once left me still fucked the next day lol
