If you are talking bout grow boxes such as grow cabinets then do yourself a favor and read as much as you can off of this site and build your own. I made the big mistake of reading that big shiny website about the "best" cabinet on the market and like a fool shelled out 3k for the PoS and now I know I can make my own and actually have something better than what I bought for well under 1k!!!! Before you buy read, read, read and read some more. My latest thought that I put to use is a free standing "cabinet" that I put together for about 50 bucks, after about another 400 (pumps, airstones, media and such) it now stands right next to the over priced PoS that I bought and does the same frigging job with the exception of being slightly larger!!! Hope this helps and keeps a little change in your pocket!!! :smokin:

What tinytoon is saying is usually true, they are so expensive... You could do the same thing, if not better, with some time. But just to let you see here a link.
If you want to check my dream in my signature you can see my setup, might give you some ideas. If you have question try to search trough the board and if you still don't find any info (a doubt that) or need some precisions ask in a post.

They are good in certain situations. Do you have kids in the house? Get a grow box, have i painted red, slap some snap-on decals on it, stuff it in the corner of your workshop, and keep it LOCKED. Looks like a big ass toolbox. Pretty stealth, right in plain site.
You are paying for the shipping, construction, and plug-n-play aspect of the box, so weigh all variables. They are rock solid units (I've had the opportunity to inspect one) but only make sense if your personal situation requires that level of stealth/security.

tinytoon- yea you bring up a good point. they are indeed very expensive but of coarse they claim that these are the best for beginner growers; which is what caught my attention most. but thanx again.. i will definately read, read, read, and read some more

lucifer- thanx for the link, that box looks glorious

stinkyattic- i am actually a college student, no dad yet. i currently live in an apartment and i dont wanna take the risk. but next semester i am moving into a house with a few friends. im just trying to gather some info so i can be prepared. i dont necessarily need the steathliest setup on the market.. but obviously other people will be in our house at one time or another.
